Tokyo Disneyland is giving the Haunted Mansion a re-design in the style of anime
Characters in the anime style are featured in a limited-time mystery-themed addition to the traditional Disneyland attraction . Nowadays, almost every attraction added to Disney's theme parks is connected to an established film or animation franchise. It wasn't always this way however, leaving some of the classic Disneyland rides with little in the way of a clear background. This winter, Tokyo Disneyland is planning to add additional narrative interest to some of its most beloved attractions. It's going to start with offering the Haunted Mansion the characters of anime-inspired designs . The Haunted Mansion, which has been a part of Tokyo Disneyland since the park's opening in 1983, is now in the spotlight during the inaugural phase of the Disney Story Beyond campaign.
