Heavenly Delusion Previews Post-Apocalyptic Adventure in Teaser Trailer

Avex Pictures is releasing a teaser video of the Heavenly Delusion anime adaptation, which gives an early glimpse of the visual style of the show and post-apocalyptic settings. Details about the cast were made public as well. Mori Hirotaka (Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale assistant director) is director of the Production I.G-produced TV anime with Makoto Fukami (Blade of the Immortal) as composer for the series Minakata Laboratory's Utsushita ("Adventuring Party Heroes of the Forest" music video) as character designer, Ryouta Furukawa (Psycho Pass 3 co-main animator) as Hiruko designer, Shinobu Tsuneki (Fena: Pirate Princess) as mechanical designer as mechanical designer, as well as Akira Takata (Moriarty the Patriot) as gun designer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=62_aXZGkG3E The other staff members are Yuuji Kaneko (Ranking of Kings) as art director, Izumi Hirose (Drifting Home) as color designer, Kentaro Waki (Sword Art Online -Alicizationof War of Underworld) as photographer director as director of photography, and Kensuke Ushio (Chainsaw Man) as music composer. Heavenly Delusion will begin sometime in 2023. It is inspired by the manga published by Kodansha written by Masakazu Ishiguro that began in the year 2018 and contains eight volumes of tankoubon in November 2022. The serialization of the series is in Monthly Afternoon and published under the Afternoon KC label. It was the first to be featured in the Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2019 ranking (male category). Denpa Books describes the source material as follows: Within the security of the walls, youngsters are raised in a nursery environment by robots. Although the environment may appear dull at first glance, the kids are full of curiosity and potential. In many ways, it's like an oasis of heaven. The world outside is an unimaginable hell-scape. It is almost completely devoid of mechanical things and is now home to strange, yet powerful supernatural beings. Maru with the help of Kiruko is out there traversing the streets of Tokyo in search of heaven. After all, after many years, perhaps it's more a flimsy dream than a possible reality. New Rascal Does Not Dream Anime To Have Theatrical Release, Teaser Visual Released

The upcoming new Rascal Does Not Dream anime , which will conclude the high school phase of the story, will receive a theatrical release in Japan. A teaser visual featuring Kaede Azusagawa was released with the announcement. The new anime project will adapt the light novels’ Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venturing Out  and  Rascal Does Not Dream of Randoseru  Girl arcs, which are covered in volumes eight and nine respectively. The teaser visual features the former’s title. The Kadokawa-published light novels, which are written by Hajime Kamoshida  and illustrated by  Keji Mizoguchi , previously inspired the 2018 Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl TV anime series and the 2019 movie sequel R ascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl .
